 “This project means everything to me because it represents the beginning of my real sound,” Stephen Blaq explained. “A lot of people hear songs, but they don’t always know the story behind the artist. FIRST RHYTHM is me expressing my journey, my emotions, my struggles, my confidence, and the kind of music I truly want the world to connect with.”

> “I listen to different genres and different artists because music is universal. Afrobeat, Afro-fusion, street vibes, melodies, even inspirational music — all these things influenced me. But at the same time, I’m focused on building a sound that people can identify as Stephen Blaq.”

When asked what listeners should expect from the project, the singer described the E.P as a combination of rhythm, emotions, relatable experiences, and energetic delivery.

> “People should expect real music,” he stated confidently. “Not just noise. I’m giving people something they can listen to repeatedly and still connect with emotionally. Whether you’re going through struggles, chasing dreams, or just trying to enjoy good music, there’s something on this project for you.”
