My name is Osayi Ekinadose, and I am the founder of Delight Cakes N Yummy Treats by Xuccessful. I’m 24 years old and originally from Edo State, Nigeria. I studied Public Administration at Auchi Polytechnic, which is my alma mater.

Although my academic background is in administration, I have always had a deep passion for creativity, food, and event services. Over time, that passion grew into a business that allows me to bring joy and beauty to people’s celebrations.

Today, I run my business from Upper Siluko Road, Benin City, Edo State, where we provide a variety of services designed to make special moments truly memorable.

Interviewer: What inspired you to start Delight Cakes N Yummy Treats by Xuccessful?


Osayi Ekinadose:

My inspiration came from my love for creativity and my desire to make people happy during their special occasions. Growing up, I was always fascinated by food presentation, baking, decorating, and organizing events.

At first, I started with baking cakes for friends and small gatherings. The positive feedback I received encouraged me to take it more seriously. I realized that celebrations are very important to people, and being part of those moments is something I genuinely enjoy.

That passion eventually led me to establish Delight Cakes N Yummy Treats by Xuccessful, a brand built not only on baking but on creativity and service.

Osayi Ekinadose:

Cakes are definitely one of our specialties, but our services go much further than that.

At Delight Cakes N Yummy Treats by Xuccessful, we offer a wide range of event-related services including:

Studying Public Administration at Auchi Polytechnic has helped me develop important skills that are useful in running a business.

Even though my career path is creative, my education gives me the structure and discipline needed to grow the business.

Starting and growing a business is never without challenges. There are times when resources are limited, competition is high, or people underestimate young entrepreneurs.

However, I believe challenges help you grow. They push you to improve your skills, work harder, and become more creative in solving problems.

With persistence, passion, and faith in my vision, I continue to move forward.

My vision is to expand Delight Cakes N Yummy Treats by Xuccessful into a widely recognized event and hospitality brand.

I want to grow the business beyond Benin City and eventually reach other parts of Edo State and Nigeria. I also hope to create opportunities to train and mentor young people who want to learn baking, catering, decoration, and event planning.

I believe talent should be nurtured and shared.

Osayi Ekinadose:
Believe in your talent and don’t be afraid to start small. Success doesn’t happen overnight, but with dedication, consistency, and hard work, your vision can grow into something great.

Also, always be willing to learn and improve. Treat your customers well, because a satisfied client is the best form of advertisement.
